By special arrangement, guests at the property may use the 5 star facilities of the fabulous Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort which is 20 minutes drive away (the resort's town centre hosts a number of bars, restaurants and occasional live performances).
The Surroundings
The restful San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea lie immediately to the south.
The facilities of a new 4-Star Thalasia Hotel and adjacent Spa are just 100 metres away and walk-in guests are welcome. A small, conveniently equipped, English supermarket is within 5 minutes walking distance. Quaint San Pedro del Pinatar town with its excellent shopping facilities, inexpensive street cafes and sea museum is in walking distance or a short drive away. The new, modern, English oriented Shopping Mall of Dos Mares is within 10 minutes drive.
Nearby beaches include the immediate secluded beach to the south, accessed through the Regional Park, as well as Lo Pagan/ Mar Menor, El Mohon and Campoamor beaches.
Local activities include cycling, golf, bird-watching, sailing, swimming and other water sports. There are a number of local golf courses in the vicinity including Campoamor, (10 minutes), as well as Villamartin, (20 minutes), and La Manga (within 30 minutes).
There is a local Monday Market in the town of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Restaurants and Bars
Good class restaurants, cafes and bars are located at the Port complex, 5 minutes drive away. These establishments overlook the local Marina with its attractive array of yachts and boats. At nearby Pilar de Horadada, there is a Chinese and an Indian restaurant; the former restaurant serves food and wine for less than 10 euros per head, all inclusive.
Reasonably priced English and local bars and restaurants can be found at the Mar Menor, El Mohon and in the town of San Pedro del Pinatar, all around 5 minutes away. McDonald's and other foreign fast food outlets can be found at the Dos Mares Shopping Mall. Numerous restaurants and bars can be found at Cabo Roig a 10 minute drive away.
